CYBERsitter 11

Protecting Kids and Families for 15 Years Effective June 1, 2010 we have discontinued active support for older versions of CYBERsitter. Please take a minute and read how this may apply to you and what you can do to ensure your family’s computers remain protected. If you are a CYBERsitter user using version 10, 9, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 99 or 97 (or even older), we would like to encourage you to upgrade to CYBERsitter 11. The latest version is fully compatible with all versions of Windows from XP to Windows 7, and was completely rewritten using true state of the art technology for “todays” Internet. CYBERsitter 10 Users CYBERsitter 10 will still be supported on a limited basis however the filters will no longer be updated regularly. CYBERsitter 11 uses a completely new type of filter that is not backward compatible with CYBERsitter 10. If you purchased CYBERsitter 10 after January 1, 2009, please contact us and we will happy to provide you with free license extension incentives when you upgrade to CYBERsitter 11. CYBERsitter 9 (and older) Users During the month of June 2010, the filters for these versions will gradually be taken down. This means that CYBERsitter will no longer filter anything. You will need to upgrade to CYBERsitter 11 to ensure your computer is protected. Users of any older version should check their computers to verify whether or not Internet access is operating properly. If you are experiencing any difficulty accessing the Internet or opening up any older version of CYBERsitter, this is probably due to a problem introduced by a recent Windows Update that was automatically installed on your computer by Microsoft. If you are experiencing this problem, we cannot fix your existing copy of CYBERsitter. We can however help you get your older version of CYBERsitter uninstalled so that you can access the Internet and install CYBERsitter 11.
